So top is nazdar ink.. just 100% magenta. Bottom is hps. It's supposed to be a "plug and play close color match" but you can see it's different. Imo, it gives better reds... We've switched magenta, lm, and black so far. Lm and bk were spot on. No idea.about cyan yet. But be prepared for a...
Ink is probably the lowest cost when it comes to making items. Saving pennies a sqft isn't worth using non tested ink to us... So we never switched or considered it before either. We use nazdar ink for a ton of our screen printing inks... So we know they're a good brand already.
Everytime...
There's an option under service printer. It'll print a bar a few inch wide and long from each head with labels. It's good to tell if it's an ink issue.mm if both blacks are misting odds of a bad batch of ink are a lot higher than two heads failing at the same time.
On Monday I'll check the...
Bad batch of ink. We've had three bad batches in the past 2 months. Buy a new black ink, empty/refill the head 2-3 times and it'll be fixed. Lots and lots of people are having this issue right now. HP will send you a new ink if you call it into them.
Yes. If you print with just the corners cutting master allows you to rotate anyway. However if you print with marks every 12"... It won't let you rotate at all. I can see it being sideways screwing it up, but it should at least let you rotate it 180.
I started printing rotated in onyx to fix...
At least 15-20 sheets before we notice the edges get rough. Then if we goto two pass we can usually get another 10... Which we may or may not do depending on how busy we are.
We cut a mixture of stuff though. Sometimes we cut hundreds of 6" 6" signs... Sometimes it'll be 2 48x48 signs per...
If you're not print and cutting... Load it upside down. We do it all the time to cut shapes, then it doesn't stick. If it's a print and cut the best option is a flatbed cutter unfortunately.
It's good because it's free upgrades, where as the $3000 one is not.
I used it for a year - I didn't like Flexi though, so I went purchased Onyx mid year and my Flexi sub went to waste. (the $50 a month requires a 1 year commitment)
You get 10 free vehicle templates / fonts / cliparts a month...
They make it very confusing now. I think you register when you install it... If you don't then you need to open the Sai connect application and create a new account. Posting for anyone else who runs across this issue

whoops, yes.. 63-620 is our main one, I always get it confused with 64. They're quite a bit different than the belins I linked - They're not o-flute, and they do have a special coating on them to prevent chips from fusing and it heating up too much.
I don't know if you'd get more than 2...
I don't think Onsrud makes a no coolant version, do they? We looked everywhere for one from any brand, and this is all we found... and no Canada/US supplier had them, or knew why they didn't. These ones have a special coating on them to keep them a bit cooler and prevent chips from sticking...
Have you tried these?
Our canadian supplier couldnt find any...we had to order one on ebay. We got it for when we cut aluminum with prints, since youcant use mist when its got vinyl on top. We've used it a dozen or so times and it's still good... it may last longer since its designed for no...
I usually use cutting master, but I started using onyx - Mainly for large runs... I like how in onyx with intermediate marks you can rotate them, with cutting master if you have rotating marks you're not able to rotate it. I printed a full roll of print and cut and I had to re-wind it since CM...
1-2 sheets?! we cut .080 on our router, and we generally get 15-20 sheets per blade, using a quarter inch. We cut .040 with 1/8" bit once in awhile... never more than 2-3 sheets at a time, we do it every other month... usually we go through 1-2 bits a year... so I'd say close to 10-15 sheets...
You don't charge your employees if they screw up, right?
We outsource installers a lot. If they screw up we replace it free. If they constantly screw up... We stop using them or goto other installers in the area.
The most important thing when a job goes wrong is getting it right for the...
I prefer the ones without a stainless edge.
At least on our sooper... It's a little rounded steel edge... It tends to throw off the cuts a little bit since it's not flat. I find myself using the steel part for anything that doesn't need to be accurate, and flipping it around and using the hand...
If other customers are experiencing it too, they may have a bad shipment , or something else is wrong... sadly them replacing it doesnt help all your lost labor / production costs. I'd switch vendors until they get it sorted out - Money talks... and losing business will get them to figure it...
I can see its ACM - It looks like you sheeted about an inch away from the edge? It also looks like the bubbles / bowing is only on the ends, not all throughout.... I would hazard a guess and say you got to the end of the sheet your laminating, and when the backer came off, or when it came...
