There are different grades of ssd also.
Is this a new pc? Does it have an m2 slot? I'd get an m2 HD for your boot os if you have a slot. If not a sata3 also works.
Also, even if you're just designing with it.... PlAn for the future. one day at work new pics showed up... No one mentioned...
Getdataback is good.
This is why its best to have multiple backups. For $15 canadian a month you can upload 1 TB (They say 1 TB, but its really unlimited) data to google. I encrypt everything and upload everything... I have over 20 TB of artwork / production files uploaded, as well as...
There is a point where you start to see diminishing returns though.
If everyone is allocated 10 2ghz cores... Is they're maxing them out working on a file, just because their cores get doubled doesn't mean the performance is doubled.
For instance... I believe photoshop was limited to under 8...
Does it still seem worth it to you?
$65,000 for under 25 users... you could buy every a top of the line PC / video card for cheaper.
And the $300 a month maintenance... thats $3600 a year... Thats buying 2-3 brand new PC's per year, just in maintenance costs alone. granted you're probably...
Put it this way. I got flexi for free with my printer...however I used onyx at work. I like playing with new software so I was open to it.. But flexI couldn't do a bunch of stuff onyx does. I went out and paid $3000 for onyx 6 months after I got my printer because I despised flexi so much.
If...
A lot of places are trying 4 day work weeks... Not just shifting the hours around, but 32 hours a week instead of 40. A lot of places are finding it gets more stuff done, at better quality.... And the employees have a better quality of life.
When you think about it..... You work 8 hours a day...
There are ups and downs. How many designers do you have? It's a neat idea, but I can see too many downsides for it to be practical.
Depending on your artwork... it's not just processing power, GPU's play a pretty big role in photoshop also. Hard disk utilization... if you have 5 designers...
9/10 times it's a networking issue. I'd start bu buying a new wire for you're printer and for your PC.. costs like $5 which is nothing compared to losing material. Then I'd try a new router... Doesn't even have to be a fancy one. Odds are one of the three has a weak signal and is losing...
We've done it plenty of times... some customers hate holes. VHB tape should hold up fine. Just dont treat it like a simple tape and slap job -
Scuff the surface, clean it with alcohol... use a heatgun to warm it, apply the tape and apply pressure for a good 20-30 seconds.... Re-heat the...
definately 4over, we just got a sample kit... one of the few vendors who ship to canada :( Their magnet/coro looks so.... crappy, looks like stuff was printed on 1 pass. It looks ok from 10 FT away, like their warning says.... But I still cant believe how bad it looks,or that someone would...
https://www.orafol.com/en/americas/products/orajet-3105ht We use orajet, which is UL and CSA approved when we couldn't find a UL approved from 3M. This is their high tac version, which our customer likes... There is also a non high tac version available.
A few companies require UL/CSA label...
The 560 has a better loading system and heating system. It can also print more vibrant colors and lay down more ink when needed.
The 365 can print regulated traffic signs and be 3m warranted, if that's part of your business.
I'd get the 560. I dread using our 360 compared to the 569...
It's OK for big text, but even medium sized text it's risky. Your cuts have to be perfect also. It is just a core and a roller.... So nothing fancy.
We usually weed a ft away...drop the rolls roller down on the weeded part... Then that holds it in place and you only need one person to weed...
https://www.photopea.com/ Depending what you're doing photo pea is great. It's...pretty similiar to Photoshop. And one of the only free programs that can open and edit Photoshop files. I've used it in a pinch on my laptop. It's an online editor... So obviously it's not perfect, and not for...
Be aware HP just officially set the end of life on these printers. After 3-5 years (3 is likely what it'll be, they gave 5 as a max) you can no longer buy HP parts or ink. You'll have to goto aftermarket inks.
Not necessarily a bad thing... Just making sure you know before you throw 15-20k on a...
you can do a quick and dirty way with just the pen tool. It wont look nice to anyone looking at the file, or the print since it wont be an equal bleed.. but it'll work. Still a pain in the ass. And of course when you're bleeding 2 colors that intersect... if your cut is a bit off, it wont be...
It's too uniform to be low humidity. Low humidity oversprays due to static and it grabbing the ink - there would.be drops everywhere, not just on the edges. We have a humidifier as well because we get the same issues, especially in winter.
