I'm thinking about going to the Solaris Bulk Catridge System ($165.00 A and B cartridges) for my Roland sp-300v. I use about 2 440 in every color per month. I've have read you have to do a lot of maintenance to keep up with bulk ink systems? Question is what type of maintenance?? Do you have to...

will the graphic be as crisp as an eps or a tiff....becuase i don't see how it can be...the graphic goes from a 1gb (tiff or eps) to a 100mb pdf....It's got to be losing detail (resolution) somewhere?

But doesn't that effect the output detail of the graphic????

I have a purple that really pops as a tif in versaworks, but the rest i think looks better as an eps....I tried to convert the purple to a bitmap...and export them together with the rest of the graphic as an eps. Versaworks always says the file is corupt???? Any other ideas?

How should I save it where it would be like a eps going to versaworks?

I can't seperate them...they are in the same decal or wrap? Do you mean turn the purple into a bitmap iside of coreldraw?

I've got a couple colors that I have been exporting out of coreldraw that are giving me problems. Orange and purple. The purple I've got is awesome if I export it as a tif (rgb) and print...However I can export the same color as an eps(rgb) and its a totally different color?? Almost a blue...

Ink carts are all full?? sponge doesn't look raised...maybe a little on the outside edges ...that metal horsehoe deal is holding it in the middle

What holds the mesh in the cap top....?? So the the sponge shouldn't touch the print head??? How does the print head stay wet then...and not dry up??? I moved my printer a while back and I manually moved the cap station up and down upon arriving at my new location...Maybe I got the capping...

Isn't the cap top suppose to touch the print head when its not printing??? If it didn't the print head will dry up....as far as the drain lines...ive already tried sucking them out the as all fine ...no clogs...thanks How does the screen on the cap tops help from ink contamination? Looks like...

Yeah....just started about 2 hours ago and the yellow damper was half magenta on the top and half yellow on the bottom....the cyan appears to be fine this morning?

I was wondering if you guys could help me with an ink contamination issue?? I have a versacamm sp 300v I've done a search on it, but I'd like a fresh take on it? Problem is...usually every morning when when i get to the office and start to do some printing for the day I have ink contamination...

But....can you take the chips off the OEM cartridges and use them on the 3rd party stuff??? Wouldn't that work?
