  1. Trying to color match a metallic

Choose some similair colours, print a large enough block, get customer to choose one. Simples....... I reckon it's pointless trying to match a flat colour to a metalic as even viewing from a slighly different can change the colour. In this case let the customer decide, just don't print too...
  2. Can anyone ID this?

Thanks for that. I showed the customer that if they wanted this letterstyle it was gonna cost them as I didn't have it on my system. As soon as they found it was gonna cost them more, all the fuss they had made about that it had to be this font changed and they promptly chose another...
  3. Can anyone ID this?

This is a Vista print font called kugelhopf, well that's what my client said. It looks familiar but their is nothing on my system like it. Thanks SC
  4. What is causing this?

The top encoder strip or the circular side one? SC
  5. What is causing this?

Just had a further look and it is also smudging on the green part of the print. SC
  6. What is causing this?

This is on my VJ 1604. It seems to be just doing this on black!!! Thanks SC
  7. Can you please ID this one?

Cor!!!! You are amazing....lol I am classed as the font finder in my business but lately I am beginning to struggle. Bring back the good old days when your Gerber IVB had a dozen letterstyles and you had to choose from them. SC
  8. Can you please ID this one?

Can you please ID this one? Cheers SC
  9. Could you have a look for this one.

WooHoo..... Thanks a lot I knew I had it. SC

It seems so familair!!! Thanks SC
  11. More blocked Nozzles then when i started cleaning

Just a little question..... Is your pump pulling the ink through? I find on my Valuejet the underlying pipework gets blocked and ends up causing exactly the problem you have. It will take a bit of time cleaning this all out and getting the pump clear. SC
  12. What Scanner!!!

Pat I certainly don't want another printer/scanner. I just want a scanner on its own. Ta SC
  13. What Scanner!!!

I need a new scanner either A4 or A3. It has to be faster than my current HP scanjet 2400!!! And either network or USB connections. The cheaper the better as money is tight at the moment. SC
  14. Warranty on Wraps

+1 Custom Grafx. Most Installs fail not because of application or preparation but on how well the customer looks after it. I have had clients bring me in failures after the vehicles has been run into!!! They expect the wrap to improve/stop damage to the vehicle!! SC
  15. Over 10 TONS......................

OMG!!!!!! When did World War III start?!!!! That is rather excessive to say the least. It can't be that bad over there..... Can it? SC
  16. Installers??

Personally I would avoid hiring in installers!! How are you going to achieve consistent quality, unless you stand over the installer?! Then you may as well be doing it yourself. If business is improving you need to employ someone. SC
  17. How to change gap between prints on VJ 1604

Yes that's what I want to do. How do you do it? Thanks SC
  18. How to change gap between prints on VJ 1604

FatCat I mean the space in between each print not the spacing inbetween each item on the layout. As you set a print of, it finishes and the starts another print. SC
  19. How to change gap between prints on VJ 1604

We are using Wasatch RIP on our VJ1604 and contour cutting on a Mutoh Ultima. If I have printed multiple contour cut files 1 after another their is barely enough space for it to read the registration marks. Is their a way of making the distance between prints larger? Many Thanks SC
  20. Mutoh Valuejet-1324

I run a 1604 and have been told the bigger machines like the 1624 and 1604 have sub tanks which help when switching over ink. Also if I had bought the smaller machine like what you are looking at I reckon I would of regretted it. Always go a size biggr than you need.. SC
