On my machine one of the two pump lines is blocked.
I have cleaned all the pipe work but it still is blocked on one side.
Is their any instructions on dismantling this item?
As the only thing wrong with it will be it is blocked with dried ink!
Thanks

I agree with Pat.
"Competition BBQ Team" Should have been moved up also
That is either a bad vehicle outline or badly scaled of the original pictures.
Measure twice........ Cut Once!!!

Very Interesting post....
I've been in the sign business 26 years and running my own nearly 10 years.
Over the last 10 years I have worked hard sometimes too hard just too make it work.
But one thing is for sure I never wanted to be the cheapest, in fact I would rather be the more expensive...
This question goes round and round on this forum.
Why are my greys not greys?!!!!
It is all about making do. I know it sounds terrible but unless you can switch your profile to printing Black only (and even this doesn't work as blacks are made up of all sorts of colours) you will not succeed.
A...
We have a seperate Mutoh SC1400D plotter used for contour cutting images after they have been printed.
When you print a contour cut image Wasatch creates a black outline around the print.
This is used in the plotter to reffence the print for contour cutting.
When I move the PF adjustment to far...
Mine did this.
Take of side panel and clean encoder disk.
Also make sure it is running true without touching the eye reader.
Do not change the motor like I did as it was the encoder running out of true!
SC
I will add my little bit....
Also check that some other machine/computer has not stolen your IP address of your machine.
When my work partner brings her laptop into work it always hijacks the same IP address!
This put me out of business for 3 days and much head scratching before I discovered...
Harold I've done all that.
I made sure everything was set up as it was originally.
Then I measured the 500mm gap (It came up at about 498.5mm)
I input the measurement into the machine and I am still getting fine lines through cyan and green prints.
I adjusted it down to 495mm and lose the lines...
Well I have just found adjusting the PF manually mucks up the contour cutting and it will no longer read the end marks!!!!
So I am back to the drawing board.
SC
Their is the problem if I make the PF adjustment correct (measuring the gap and inputting the correct measurement) the fine lines reappear!
Only when I take it down a lot more than what it needs to be does it improve!
SC
The profiles I am using are for different quality of prints onto the same material.
All the profiles I am using have been used a number of times before without problems.
Today I changed the PF adjustment manually (without measuring).
I now have prints that are acceptable again but are 2-3mm...
Any help on this one would be appreciated.
When printing blues and greens their is fine lines through it.
It is as if the small amount of nozzles are making a huger difference.
It doesn't matter what setting or quality I have the machine set on the problem is still there.
Another question :-...
I am using wasatch RIP.
But nothing has changed in the colour management.
Even files previously ripped are not the same colour anymore!!!!
So it is either something with the printer or the inks.
I am not willing to alter the colour management as I have had it as good as a CMYK printer can be.
SC
Well here is an attachment of my test print.
Magenta and yellow are perfect.
But I have a couple out on the black and the cyan as pictured.
Could this be creating me problems printing blues as they are coming out purple.
I can't believe having this few out would cause so much problems.

The support for these machines in the UK is a nightmare.
All the service engineers scare me when they start messing with my machine.
Personally I know I have a better knowledge than some/all of them.
I have a maintenance manual is the procedure in there?
Or could you talk me through it...
Well I have got in this morning and adjusted the pf.
Yes the prints are better but the colours are still out!
The blue is purple etc....
Could I have an ink issue here?
I had a similair problem many years ago on a water based printer and after a lot of adjusting the RIP it turned out the CMYK...

I will have a go at this tomorrow (can't sleep full of cold, been awake since 2am!!!)
I have done a lot of head soaks but they are not comming back.
Machine is 3 year old now so probably due new print heads.
It just seems very strange as this has just happened recentley.
