    Corel is a vector program you dont need to convert to a .bmp and back the line are already a vector....... you have a parallel cable.....you need to be running out of a parallel connection on your computer not a serial........P to P S to S ...... You might also need to get a null modem cable...

    Did your serial port die.........Thats the only reason for it to stop working.......Have you tried installing it on another computer..... I don't know about the cutter you have but read up on it in the owners manual.......

    Why type of cutter are you running...........You might have to change some dip switches, and some baud rates to make it work with the parallel port.....
