Jv33
I didn't read down all the suggestions, so if someone touched on this ok. We just had that same issue with a JV33. It turned out the valve on the yellow ink line failed to open. They can be checked in the service menu. if the yellow channel is dry you may be pulling another color or colors...

www.solventprinterconversion.com
Roland never officially did conversions on those printers so they will not be able to help.
Heat gun
Try hitting the ends of the banner rolls with your heat gun before running the material. Those little hairs will melt away if you do it right.
Those lines
Street Dreamz you beat me to it on that demo disc. First time i saw that it took me two hours to figure it out. Turned out my customer had reloaded the software after i did the original install. Good call.

Sc 500
That old Roland is using the older DX 2 technology that was not originally designed for Eco solvent inks, it is the same ink delivery system as the Mutoh Falcon, do a search and see waht people have to say about it. They are slow and my sources say the parts may not be available much...
Sc-500

If it has to be converted you may have issues getting a current copy of Color Rip that will allow you to change ink...
Falcon 2
One just changed hands here in denver for 3500.00. Have it checked out by a tech, lots of pricey parts on that printer. New ValueJets are going for 370.00 a month with a two year warranty
Payroll
Anyone who runs a business like this is not going to last. Sooner or later either that local tax authority or poor performance by disgruntled employees will bring them down. Bottom line is in the end you will get burned. Time to find a new job.
