    That's interesting. We usually find a roll of MPI 1005 doesn't work well with latex as the plasticizers have migrated to the top level (same with banner sometime), but that same roll run through a solvent machine or UV machine doesn't show the trouble.

    Get a RIP that can handle transparencies. Caldera and Onyx Thrive are tow that I know of that use the Adobe Print Engine to handle PDFs.

    Really depends on the NAS-- A cheap $100 unit would probably fit this description. A highend $4K Synology unit, for instance, would be fantastic. It's all in the you-get-what-you-pay-for mentality--

    Surfaces are great. All of our sales guys have one-- they can take it with them everywhere and when back in the office the dock them to use a normal set of screens as well as a keyboard and mouse. Everyone has Creative Cloud on them-- it works very well
