They've released a Cyrious Control Connector thing that will do stuff in the cloud though there is only one app in the cloud right now. They have six guys working on apps so they're pretty enthusiastic about their timeline for new apps.

A HP Service contract on that machine is only a couple of hundred dollars a month. Being that the machine is only out of warranty a month or two it won't cost you much to get it under service again. Much cheaper than paying for parts and labor.

Sure is. We have 10 people running our Caldera. You simply purchase more Visual Users from Caldera.

It's easy. You just use VisualCut to run your machines. Files come in using the standard spot color CutContour and you set them to cut in the print window. You can run either way-- printed and cut or simply cut (just have Caldera RIP, not print the file, and use the Blind Cut in Visual Cut...

You've made a great choice. We ran Onyx with five machines for several years until we discovered Caldera. It was night and day. Never looked back.

It sounds like he was doing more with Advantage Sign Supply as opposed to CET itself, which could explain some of the issue--

i wouldn't call myself crazy. These are great machines, and Dave is a standup guy. Just like anything there can be trouble.
