Well..thats the thing. I can get single Opteron or Xeon core dual processors and it would take advantage of that more than dual core I think. the fast hard drives are a no brainer....10K Raptors are the fastest with seek/write times. I would have 3 of those puppies running on it...

I know with my PS Rip It has PMS Spot color matching built in. It attempts to match the PMS numbered chips in the CMYK printing I do. Im within 95% on spot color matching. The files come primarily through Illustrator CS2. The colors, are the Named PMS colors and thats how my rip interperts...

  8. Gradient Problem with Photoshop

some of that could be the Printer profile as well. Its not allowing the lighter colors to reproduce accurately. It could be the Magenta dropping off at 5% or higher causing that abrupt break. Do you have a 4 or six color printer?

My opinion is that the Adobe suite is the best graphics software out there. I was working in the prepress industry for almost 10 years using the various versions of Illustrator and Photoshop. 18. Inkjet printing on CANVAS?

If youre looking for a Higher Quality printout on Canvas of some sort...you need to go with at LEAST a 6 color machine. You'll get a better representation of your colors with the Lc & Lm than you would with just the standard CMYK. It makes a huge difference on my Vutek which is only 360 Dpi...
