  10. New to Sign Industry - Need Advice

1st off welcome. As for the companies you're looking to buy. The family company that does 400k a year in sales. I can 100% promise you it's not 300k in profit. Trust me, i know first hand. Companies that do 1.2-1.5 million in sales profit about 300k in this industry, I know from first hand...

100% right. At the same time we've gotten some crazy good jobs out of it. I think at this point in time the bad out weighs the good for us. I'd say starting off the store front can't hurt....once you start gaining reputation, and get some seo and adwords, you won't need it. good luck
  14. Storefront location

Let me give you the best advice i can. If you want to do like 1-200k a year of business cards, graduation banners, and door magnets get a store front. If you want to do more B2B work, which in turn typically results in a much higher profit margin, and overall sales, move to a more industrial...

  17. Wrapping behind rear bumpers (problem area)

The hard body lines on cars don't even come close to comparing to a sprinter recess. We do color change wraps seamless all day. But we don't tuck and fold under, or door jambs and stuff of that nature. We're strictly Business to Business, doing mostly fleets... unless of course someone is...
  18. Wrapping behind rear bumpers (problem area)

um that's why you don't have a novice wrap your vehicle. The correct way to wrap it, and i HATE to say it, but even 3m has it in their bulletin... Is to cut, and drop in the channel. I'm not talking about a relief cut. Like literally wrap flat over the channel neatly cut the edge, and drop the...
  19. Wrapping behind rear bumpers (problem area)

These videos do have some helpful tips to people who don't wrap. But one thing I don't agree with is the heat and stretch into channel. Your channel Will. Fail. Sprinters - Do. Not. Roll. And. Heat. Into. Channels. Cut and drop is the right way to do it.
