  1. Shop Boat Wrap....

Much better! and FYI... it's ok to change your logo color from time to time. ;) Maybe try replacing the red with a blue to see how it looks.
  2. Shop Boat Wrap....

Then you designed a poor logo. Period. If you can't use your logo for everything then you have failed at creating one. Gotta be harsh here because what you just put up SUCKS. And you want it to create attention, right? To get people to call? Now, IMO, you could leave the background. I've seen...

  8. A walljob

New Years Resolution ... do more stuff myself. and yeah, the 3 day breakdown.. .first day, lay out the paper (wind made it miserable), pounce, paint the bottom black text and start around the Q Next day, finish the black and lay in the blue on the globe. 3rd day, fix my mistakes, clean up the...
  9. A walljob

Not my first one but it's the tallest one. Used all oneshot, 3/4" angled fitch, a quill for touchups, and a 2" cutter to finish out the letters. Used a pounce pattern in 2 pieces. Total size is 18' x 7'. Could've done most in a day but that globe was a royal PITA. No clue what you mean...
  10. A walljob

Well, I'm kind of slow so it took me 3 days, but here's a 18' x 7' wall paint job of mine. Still had an hours worth of touchups after I took the pic, but you get the idea.
  11. Mutoh Valuejet... streaks???

Hey everyone, seeing if anyone has any suggestions. I got a Mutoh Valuejet 1204, and I am getting streaks across the surface of the media I am printing. Just BARELYYYY, but you can notice it. Like when a cheap printer runs out of ink. I tried soaking the heads, multiple cleanings, and it's...
  12. It's called ingenuity

I plan on upgrading when I can afford a new unit. Right now funds are tied up in other projects... but have my eye on a nice 8 color station that a local has for sale.
  13. off gassing large wraps!

haha. funny. I actually said better safe than sorry, but it's worked fine for me. They also claim 3M media is only compatible with 3M laminate, and 3rd party inks will void your warranty and a lot of you can't install below 45 degrees..... lol :banghead: Sorry for butting in, feel free to...
  14. off gassing large wraps!

lol. Bob, you crack me up. You really don't have a clue about anything sign related.
  15. Anyone got a 1204 Black cartridge?

Hey guys, ran out of black... need it for a job today and no one's open. Anyone around Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR with a black ink cartridge for a Valuejet I could buy off ya?
  16. off gassing large wraps!

That I can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt, is false. I can print a photo on 651, for example, and apply it a week later. That printed media will be far more pliable than it was before being printed. Now, how that breaks down/works chemically... I don't know. But it's a fact. You know...
  17. off gassing large wraps!

Sorry.... buckets. Yo Pro, I might be making a Cali trip next month, mind if I stop by? :thread
  18. off gassing large wraps!

Prove me wrong and I'll eat my words. Over 500 rolls through my equipment, usually always laminate right away, and never once in 5 years have I received a complaint of material failing due to outgassing. Solvent...eh, probably different story. Don't get me wrong though, if you want to set up...
  19. off gassing large wraps!

Easy. I don't let em outgass. lol. I've done a few wraps, even one on a 40' motorhome with a 30' trailer. Laminated IMMEDIATELY and it's on it's 2nd year on the road without a hiccup. Valuejet eco-sol. :rock-n-roll:
