  1. Can I confiscate my signs

I doubt you can even file it with the court until it's 30 days overdue. It's an apartment complex...when they get rent checks in the first of the month you'll probably get paid. You go confiscate the signs right now and you're just going to making a pain in the *** for yourself. He's not...
  2. QR codes - please weigh in

I don' think a majority of Americans know what they are or bother with them if they do. I rarely see them anymore. The only ones I can remember lately are the ones that are to "LIKE" somebody's facebook page (see http://www.likify.net )
  3. incy.com

You didn't get your user name and password? Guess you're not in the club.
  4. Why does Sign Warehouse have to suck?

Same reason we charge customers $25 to burn them duplicate copies of their logo cd or email it to somebody. What they see as "just burning a cd" actually means having to go through file archives, find the file, convert it into 10 different formats, burn it to a cd, and listen to them ramble on...
  5. Bidding job for mega church

Don't bet on it. A big church is a MAJOR construction project and the sign work is usually the same as an office building. Don't forget to check ADA compliance on all the signs.
  6. A different kind of before/after.

I'm really, really hoping the other designer guy just gave up and let the customer have EXACTLY what he wanted. We used to do a lot of work for this guy, that's why I did his layouts and stuff on spec. It had been several years since I'd seen him last....when he came in this time he was not...
  7. A different kind of before/after.

Some of you have already heard the whole story behind this and I'm not dragging it out again. I've spent the first part of this year really pushing a higher end product in an attempt to get away from the commodity end of this business (regardless of what Bob believes). As a part of that...

  9. What the heck?

    Whale placenta.
  10. Glow in the Dark Vinyl

How long does it actually glow, though? I know it says 10 hours but that usually means it's fairly bright for about half an hour and then you can kind of see it if you're looking right at it after that.
  11. Van graphics

Man, is Pensacola that OLD? Churches are getting away from the traditional and a lot of the contemporary ones are really pushing the envelope with design and branding of the church. Same biblical message just presented in a more modern form to appeal to a younger audience. (cringes waiting...
  12. Greek letters

Most of the major fonts have them. Dafont has a whole section of them http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=204 or here.... http://greekhouseoffonts.com/ ....and googling "greek letter fonts" will probably get you a few hundred more.
  13. Sign Shops in my Area (a photo map)

There are 275,000 sign shops in Orlando?
  14. WORK WORK WORK....Time for a hobby.

Please remember to cut the zip ties off the reel.
  15. Sign Shops in my Area (a photo map)

Business planning step #1: What can you offer that all of them can't?
  16. How much trouble do you think I am in?

I'm on number three now...all my wife ever said was that as long as I acted like it was still there it didn't matter. My wife spent $200 on the original, a plain, simple, titanium band. The two replacements have been the exact same ring.....$15, brand new, on ebay.
  17. Grimco Sale

What does a company like HP do with traded in printers?
  18. Total Plastics Inc.

Well at least they're proud of themselves.
  19. wrap gone really wrong

There's no way the owner of the Hummer didn't know about that. It would have been obvious.
