We set up the file in Illy then just open in Winplot to cut. Works fine & is fairly foolproof.

If the sign is always on - trans vinyl with increased ink to allow for backlighting. If it's off during the day and on at night - print on clear with normal profile, lay on opal acrylic then the same print on trans vinyl, laminated, over that. Align on bench lightbox.

Doesn't your rip print those kind of cropmarks? Easier than trying to add them in your design app or am I missing something.

We had been using Rhino mats but when I needed two more I couldn't find anyone with them locally. So instead bought two of these clear mats from Yello Tools. http://yellotools.us/Cutting/Cutting-Mats/ They seem to be lasting well but the plastic is a bit stickier than the Rhino.
