VHB doesn't like PVC for some reason. However there are many different types of VHB, you may have used one that is made for metals or glass.

The overprint happens in your rip software. As for CMYK, 0,0,0,100 is a lighter black and 100,100,100,100 is a darker black. Do you have any settings that are increasing or deceasing the color contrast? make sure you use the correct color palette for your rip software/

If something is 200", save it at 100" and then resize in your rip software.

Any chance you are doing an overprint or double strike? Another could be if you switched from CMYK to RGB or even something else. There are many things that can cause it.

In order to do a reverse print, the only other possible way is to use clear decals, but I don't know of any that are clear and reusable. If you use the micro suction reusable ones, you would have to print on the suction side to be able to put it inside the vehicle facing out.

That will collect a ton of dust on it or be very expensive to produce by putting a roll of adhesive across the printed side.

Does it have to be printed reverse on the adhesion side?

You need to make the PDF box the same size or larger. If it's goes past PDF's limitations, there isn't much you can do. Try saving as prepress or web to see if there is a difference.

Any solvent, eco-solvent, UV or latex will work for backlit signage. I recommend staying away from all 3 of those. -HP, expensive repairs, expensive ink, etc. -Mimaki, terrible tech support and service -Colorpainter, off brand stick with the professional printers.

It is a specialty printer, so I would check it out at a trade show first, let them print you a couple samples so you can see. It's not great for every day signage, just for the more high end stuff. I don't, but they will mail you a free sample if you ask.
