  1. Xante x-98 Thoughts

CC-CMYK, do some YouTube searches on this printer. Are there any, other than promotional videos from the Manufacturer? You need real life feedback, a lot of it, before you clunk your money down. As far as the Roland flatbed, do some searches on this site to get feedback from others. If you're...
  2. Xante x-98 Thoughts

I guess you got the same email and video that all of us are getting. I'd ask Xante for a reference or 2 of shop who own one near you. Then call that person and ask some questions of a first hand local user. There might be some on this forum that have one, their input would be interesting to...
  3. 5x10 work tble. where did you guy get that 5x10 sheet??

Uh-Oh, rise of the AI bots, here we go.
  4. Someone to take over production?

https://www.aftonbladet.se/ What website is that? It's in your profile.
  5. Want to buy Graphtec cutting plotter knife blade holder???

I don't know, that's a pretty big decision you're making there. Do some more research, ask a few more forums, consult with others in your area. I'm sure you'll get the right blade holder when it's all said and done. Let us know how it worked out.
  6. Loss of a great artist

You could not beat the tri-folds that he would design. I looked forward to those back in the 60's. 102?, not a bad run.
  7. Printer/Cutter vs. Stand-alone Cutter

Take a look on YouTube, do large decal factories print and cut on the same machine? They would never attempt. I have 3 Rolands, love the print, but I do not love the cut. They are not accurate and skew all the time. If you have the space, a separate Graphtec will get it done right, and faster...
  8. TCPIP in control panel

Why not let NetSol log onto your computer with TeamViewer, set the IP addresses, see if it works, then PayPal him $75?
  9. Shipping Boxes

BTW, UPS software has a check box for "Simple Rate". It gives us standardized pricing on boxes of certain sizes. It often saves us anywhere from $1 to $10 per shipment, depending on weight, especially when we ship to the west coast. It all adds up. Saving for that Zund cutter in 2058.
  10. Where should logo go on passenger side?

Customer preference always wins. When sending proofs, I would put the logo on the left, (#1) then let them decide.
  11. Shipping Boxes

Uline is great. Super low pricing on boxes, watch the prices on their other stuff though. Rich people make their own custom boxes with a Zund cutter. We just buy from Uline. :D If the Uline stamp on the bottom of the box bugs you, put a label over it. We only use a recycled box if it's in...
  12. Best RIP? Most Reliable? Fewest Problems?

Roland was very smart years ago. Build a RIP just for their printers. It created ease of use and good functionality. People bought 2, 3, 4 or more because of the convenience. Shops that have several brands of printers now have to use several different RIP's. That's why up till now we have stuck...
  13. Name that font! (please)

It's kind of strange, your screen name is SignPro and yet your only postings are asking for font ID's or help on finding things. Do you ever offer any help to others? Are you really a SignPro?
  14. UV or Solvent?

Buy both, then decide which you like best, return the other one. :roflmao:
  15. HP Latex 800 upgrade to Canon Colorado 1650

There is some great input here by actual users. Thanks for your real-life experience with the 1650. This question is to Miro, Victor B, Mark Snelling, and any other users. All the YouTube videos I've seen with the marketing manager and salesman from Canon show the machine in action. But when I...
  16. Want to buy 60 Degree Carbide Blades compatible with Roland Vinyl Cutter???

Try the ones on EBay. They are very inexpensive. If you don't like them, throw them away. We love them.
  17. UV or Solvent?

Your previous posts said you already bought a Mimaki and you had a problem with expired inks. ???
  18. Round sign blank

Don't wait on Hall Signs for anything. They're terrible helping sign shops. They like to sell large orders to municipalities.
  19. Canon Colorado M Series.

Thank you, that's helpful. I take it you love your machine. Was that .017 on a roll? If so how long was the roll? Thanks
