I agree with Techman. There just isn't a lot of useful data on most people's PCs. But in the event that you have "sensitive" data, keep your drive or run Killdisk at least 3 times.

This is why I use flash drives! Well, at least, one of the reasons. With flash drives, larger email attachment limits, and FTP, I think I am almost completely weaned off of CD / DVD.

I totally misunderstood the problem. I thought that you were trying to delete a file from the CD-RW itself.

You have closed out of the file in other programs right? For example, you can't have a file open in Photoshop and try to delete it from the CD at the same time. I know it is a silly question, but it is common.

What I meant is, save all the files from the current CD to your computer (desktop is easiest to find). Then burn a new CD with only the files you need.
