Are your jobs in Production Manager cache being cleared out? I have seen this eat up all of the drive space. Remember, your drive can look like it has space left and still give you drive space problems. Pagefiles and few others don't show up as used space.

How is your actual drive space? Are you getting close to being full?

How is your printer connected to the plotter? What kind of connection? I don't think this is related to the problem in this tread, you might try starting a new thread.

I would put the Core2Duo in the system that is likely to have more applications running at the same time (multitasking). Even thought the clock speed is lower, you are likely to get better results that way. You are likely to have a larger cache on the Core2Duo as well.

I don't know where you can find it, but it shouldn't be hard to reproduce in Photoshop.
