  1. New idea for a website.

I have an idea for a site. People would be able to hold contests and lawyers would compete against other lawyers. A person would simply say they want legal advice for a specific issue. They would then set the price... let's say $50 - $200. Then lawyers would do all the work and compete against...
  2. Recent Design Work

Neato Burrito does it again. Top notch work.:thumb:
  3. I am needing a font chart.

You design in front of them???? oh man that sounds like fun. :Big Laugh Do you at least get a down payment first?
  4. I am needing a font chart.

It is hard enough for possessional designers to pick the best type style to fit a specific customer and work well with the other elements they request for their design. How is someone that doesn't do this for a living going to make a good choice. If you do do something like this. Keep it...
  5. A few shirt layouts.

Not to start working on the promotional material. I won't have time in the summer with all the walldoggin I've got planned, plus we have to build and tear down every year. We start building the haunted house middle of the summer. That is my favorite part, so I won't have time to work on it...
  6. How not to get the job

APRIL FOOLS!!!!!! Right???? I mean this isn't real is it? What do I win?
  7. A few shirt layouts.

These are for our annual haunted house.
  8. My New Laptop

For a similar price (after I applied a few stackable coupons) I bought this from HP but with 8Gb rather than the 6GB model in this link. http://www.amazon.com/HP-17-1181NR-17-Inch-Envy-Notebook/dp/B0044XU4IM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1301670974&sr=8-1 I got mine from HP's site. If you haven't...
  9. Patrick... the miracle.

Growing up I had nothing but shelter dogs. At least two of those dogs were mistreated before our family adopted them. They were the best FRIENDS a kid could ask for, I always wondered how anyone could have given up these dogs let alone mistreat them. They were more then just a pet or property...
  10. Speaking of tablets...

This thing is pretty cool. Looks like it is a bit on the bulky side, but pretty innovative. I hope they develop this idea more. It's like a Nintendo DS for grownups. http://www.engadget.com/2010/11/23/acer-iconia-first-hands-on/ I wonder if it has a Wacom digitizer???
  11. IPad. Is it worth it.

Yeah I know you can do that. I've got one on my smartphone too... but that is only part of the equation. First, if that is like any other remote PC/Mac application I have seen, the technology would need a bit more work to get to the point where it would be used wirelessly and would seem as...
  12. IPad. Is it worth it.

They should make a tablet that is even more slim and doesn't even require that much power or performance, that would be only a device used to remotely connect to your home or office computer, using the power and performance of it. They would need to develop this technology a bit more so there...
  13. IPad. Is it worth it.

Look, I have no allegiance to any brand. I have owned apple products in the past. I've owned God knows how many different brands of mp3 players, desktops, laptops, phones... etc.. I'll try anything that is worth the price and has the features I want... apple products included. But in my...
  14. IPad. Is it worth it.

:rolleyes:Following that logic, none of us should buy an iPod (not the first mp3 player) or an iPhone (not the first smart phone) or an iPad (not the first tablet) or a macbook (not the first laptop) or an iMac (not the first all-in-one)... I could keep going, but you get my point. I swear...
  15. IPad. Is it worth it.

Yeah they need programmable buttons on the side like on the Cintiqs. Since it runs Win 7 you could use software with macro buttons that would do essentially the same thing on the screen. The pressure sensitivity is a plus though, I also like that I could install coredraw and painter.
  16. IPad. Is it worth it.

NOW THAT is exactly what I want from a tablet. Full windows operating system, not some smart phone OS, so I'll be able to use programs like Corel. The functionality of a Cintiq and it looks like it has a bit more power than your average tablet too. I might be getting that. Let's see what I...
  17. My dog needs a name

Dr. Snifincroch? and for all you nerds: Dogmeat.
  18. Lusterboard delaminating!?!

Yeah we have tried. Our distributors first question our methods to see if we are to blame (which always makes you feel warm and fuzzy doesn't it) then they tell us to take it up with the manufactures (who won't return our calls). I'm starting to wonder if being a walmart greeter is a better...
  19. Lusterboard delaminating!?!

Yes we have. Every last sign that leaves our shop has been properly sealed for outdoor use. If we run a fastener trough the material, that too is sealed. We did everything right in these cases. We even have well documented photos and information to back this up. In fact, one of these jobs was...
  20. Lusterboard delaminating!?!

Here is what we are finding on these signs: All of them had edges that were epoxied and painted. Some signs are painted, some signs have vinyl graphics. This particular sign we have to completely dismantle just to get to the lusterboard. What a mess.
