So you are offended by my post and you are the vinyl guy that sprays down an area with solvent, stands back a few feet to see if it's straight?!?!?......then yes that is kinda weak, would it not be easier to measure down how far you are going to be sticking the sign with a tape measure and mark...
I'm sorry if that went over your head there big guy. What I meant to say is, there is never a need for a wet mount. If you need to stick vinyl on anything other than dry, then you are a noob.
I couldn't believe my eyes when I took over this sign shop to see so many people relying on this alcohal water to stick there vinyl straight. Learn to use a measuring tape and stick it on dry, for the most part you can look for two of the same letters and measure to the edge then use a light...
Use corel, and change your image to black & white, run an outline contour trace then convert your image to curves and start messing with the rocker arms on each node until it matches........then again I don't even know what programs you are using.....:design:
I work for a Budweiser dist. out here in Commerce TX.
I want to say first off that I am inspiring to open my own sign shop.
I don't like the fact that I do in fact take over other sign shops business.
I hope we can all still be friends, I also hope to give some good advice here on the boards...
