I have a 15year old Edge Thermal printer- have never seen a Summa printer in the flesh, but- thermals are good for a very small percentage of jobs-
for instance printing opaque white. Otherwise they are expensive and slow and a technology that is going to be extinct. And you do still need to...
We do a lot of 25 ft long cut decals and sometimes the reg marks need to be moved a little bit to 'fool' the cutter- so I have a roll of 2" white circles with reg marks printed in the middle to cover the old ones.
This is my setup- I built some 80/20 structure to support my winder (up in the air where an old man can service it) and the BB heater (under the .040

With a RF640 solvent printer- have never had a customer come back with failure.
I know it is supposed to be a secret, but on which part of which earth do you reside? I have been using Oracal and Orical laminate for 12years and never experienced anything like that.

If you click in the square between the rules (upper left corner- with up and right arrows) you get the options- no fractions I am afraid for my older version. You can type in fractions and it will convert them- but it seems to 'think' in decimals or whatever type you prefer.
