A customer is desperate for 1 foot of this stuff for a good customer of his.
I said i would try to see if I could buy a small piece online for him.
The stuff has to be bought in 10 yard rolls here and no one has any in stock anyhow.
Anybody?
PM me if you would like to sell 12" or so of it...
It's 30 degrees celcius in my upstairs office which is close to the roof...uggg. I did not run the air today as the downstairs is nice. I just run up set up jobs and run back downstairs lol
I have always enjoyed open wheel racing. Unfortunately golf and nice weather get in the way of sitting inside to watch most races..... I did graphics for James Hinchcliff ever since he was 8 or 9 racing go carts.
Go James GO!!!!!
I have a Fletcher 3000 but it is very hard to cut digital prints with it once they are applied to coro or pvc because, everything has to line up 90 degrees to the cut line. It can be hard to manipulate 4 x8's to try and move them 1/4" due to material out of square or print not put down 100%...
My first laminator had the 2 pressure knobs and it basically sat and collected dust as just about everything I did went horribly.
Hopefully you will get the hang of it. I have no patience so I bought a new one with a single pressure knob and use it daily and never really have any real problems
I need to send a file to see if the same thing happens when you try to cut. This file refuses to send a portion of the graphic every time, but if I send just this one element it will go.
I need to see if it is my software or a bug with the program.
I have had this happen to me several...
I am wondering if it always printed this way? I have an Edge LE so I have no control on resolution as far as i know. Maybe my heat settings are wrong. It may also be the matte material as opposed to gloss...maybe the white does not stick as well.
they are tiny letters anyhow so I am not going...
I used Duracoat super opaque white and printed on 3m sc 50 matte black. It looks OK, but while setting up the bomb site I could see that the white sort of looked like perf film, if you know what I mean. It was not solid although from a distance it looks perfectly fine.
I sort of got worried and...
I have put them on vehicles but think it would be dangerous for someone to try and scan it while driving. I know the software on my phone, you have to line it up just right. I am not sure if you can take a pic then run it through the software, but that would make more sense and be safer.
I...

sorry John, I don't mean to attack you...I am having a bad day...not just over this...it's just a day whereby i should have gone golfing or something outside of dealing with customers.
your wrong... I misunderstood nothing. He sent a file that was clearly 3.25" x 6.25" and asked for 200 pieces of that size. thats what I gave him.
Whatever the file contains is not by business. If I even had the slightest doubt as to what he wanted I would have called and discussed it. He...
Thanks Scott.....so since returning from lunch, the drama continues... He said to me that he would send me a $50 cheque to cover my expenses and that he no longer wanted me to send him work because I threatened not to use him in the future over this BS.
I said fine and we sent him a $50.00...
I was red in the face this morning from having to deal with an absolute
%^%$ head customer.
Well in fact I am normally his customer as he does engraving and small dye sub work.
He emails me a pdf file to quote Monday afternoon.
So first off in his e-mail he is asking me for a quote on 3.25" x...
For as often as it it is needed, I think i will put up with the browny grey colour. I mean it makes sense to me that if when printing black you are using all the colours then when cutting back the %age of black will make anything but true greys......
I knew before I even started that this would happen. Everything is in shades of beige.
Do you suppose if I turn colour correction off it will get closer to greys?
It has to be the way the profile is set up as I was printing 1440 x 720 today but could see the high speed option was greyed out....
I use 1440 x 720 when I cant find a match using 720 x 720
Cant split the logo, it has a stripe built into it so that would look like chit. the problem is that to get the stripe down with out heat guns or stretching it needed to drop that inch it seems.
The logo went on perfect and it did not need any transformation as OP suggested.
The customer...
