  1. Adhesive Paper Stickers

I would agree. Vinyl's gonna be more cost effective. I would think contour cutting paper would be no picnic. Seems like it would dull your knife quicker and getting the depth right would be a chore. Not that it couldn't be done.
  2. Contour Cutting Coro

Must be. Cause I just tried my hand held router and the coro looks like it needs a hair cut along the cut edge. Pat, if I had alot to do I would consider the gophers as they are slightly larger than some rats and could knock the work out quicker. Beavers which are larger yet, have unions and I...
  3. Contour Cutting Coro

Thanks. I have one. Tried a small hand held years ago. It was made for drywall. Didn't work so hot on coro.
  4. Contour Cutting Coro

Was at the mall a few days ago and one of the stores had a digi sign that had been cut around the design. Looks like who ever did it hired some rats to gnaw the coro into shape. We had a customer in here yesterday looking for something similar. They went with a banner and stand instead. Any way...
  5. SP-300 profiles

one suggestion. When your printing heat apply material cut it first, then print. I'm not sure if this is an option in ColorRip. It will help clean up your cuts.
  6. Am I paranoid, or is my gut right?

100% From everyone. Always. Exceptions: State, County and College's. I broke our policy 2 months ago for a good customer. Mistake. We don't do big jobs like many on here. What we do is done and out the door within a few days to a week. If they can't pay right now what makes me think they can...

Shovel...if you send it as an x3 file I can see what I can do.

  12. Sleeping Beauty

If it's for a play ask them for the media pack. If they are paying for the rights to use the materials such as scripts they should also have been provided a media pack. At least the ones i've dealt with have.
  13. screaming devil clipart

If worse comes to worse you can run this through trace in corel. You may find it on clipart.com. Seems like I have seen this all over.
  14. Official: Whiskey Thread

When I was very young and stupid I ruined whiskey for myself for the longest time. I do love 7&7 after a long day. Haven't tried anything straight up in forever. Maybe a sampling of the above mentioned is due. :-)
  15. New Site Almost Ready for TV Ad

Killer, Good Luck. That's all I have to say about TV. Good Luck.
  16. Premium forum concepts: privacy, secrecy, value & funding...

I don't post much and I'm not sure if anything I have ever posted has been of much service to anyone. What I am sure of though is the value of this site to me. Educational and Entertaining. The cost of being a Premium Subscriber is well worth it. I think it could even stand to be higher. There...
  17. How is business....

Same here. Middle of last week it's like everyone forgot we are here. We still average 3 or 4 jobs a day, but we get most of them done that day. Good time to move stuff around in the show room and get the x-mas stuff out of storage.
  18. A general "Future of the Industry" discussion

These post are why I come here. Does anyone here ever feel comfortable with the direction they have taken? How long do you feel like our on the right path with your business only to question it and ask if your doing to much or to little? Do you ever feel like your right where you need to be...
  19. Looking to outsource some 24x24" Coro prints

Net, Could you make an offer the customer just can't refuse? Such as if there's a problem with your signs (print and apply) you will replace them no questions asked? I'm sure at this point as you've said, their mind is set. Maybe an option if this comes up again. Previous shop also should have...
  20. Craziest thing you've done for a customer...?

Hmm..my crazy is not in the same league as other folks crazy. Last week we cut vinyl letters for a birthday cake. Made sure the customer knew that they should not eat them. Sorry...thats alls I gots.
