In VersaWorks, when you go into "Layout", make sure under "Position" the "Center on Media" is NOT!! checked. That will give you way better cutting registration. The print should print to the side a bit, not centered. Along with the other suggestions as well, ;) you should get better results.

I'm curious, are you trading up to a newer one? or a Zund? or some another brand? Does it come with the GoProduce software? Age of machines?

In the meantime, to keep things going, you might want to open up an account with Signs365, and FireSprint (they are a signs101 member), this way you can at least keep your orders going in some fashion. Try to keep the business alive in some ways by subbing work out. That would be my first move.

The dealer I got my VersaCamm's from also sells Epson printers. Although they have an in house tech, if something goes wrong with and Epson, he said that only Epson can service the printer. That's a consideration when buying one. I don't know if that's unique to my dealer. I'm not saying you...

When you disconnected the print heads, how did you close off the lines? I would think you would have crimped them and put on a clip of some sort.
