I think VJ has the right answer - but if it does not clear up after cleaning the encoder check the platen to make sure there is no adhesive stuck there.
I was printing close to the end of a roll of vinyl and for some reason there was a tape strip stuck to the backer about 2 feet in from the end...
Looks like they are asking for 3M 9800 series UV spot color inks
http://multimedia.3m.com/mws/media/381380O/3-20-screen-printing-with-ink-series-9800-line-color.pdf
Might not be any CMYK info on them.
So you guys are saying you don't ID your materials by taste and smell?
I must have held over that habit from my commercial tinting days when you'd roll the corner of the material with your teeth to separate the liner.
(IJ180c tastes best)
We use mostly 3M - has the info printed on the inside of...
I don't run that printer (VJ1624 here) but what recipe are you using for black in vector objects?
I get muddy brown black if I run 0,0,0,100K or Pantone spot black.
RGB black prints nice and Illustrator converts it to C75 M68 Y67 K90 to print as a rich solid black in CMYK layouts.

Can't find this deal on Corel's webpage.
When I open the "messages" option in my X5 it pops up the offer in Australian dollars $209.00 - convert to USD and it is $161.00
Do you have a direct link? We use dollars here (our stone money is hard to transfer by web).

Have one of your guys drive around and hand it out to the people living under the bridges & overpasses - would be a nice upgrade from cardboard.

I did not check the head slant - will go back and run the adjustments.
As for the Dropmaster setting I set it in Flexi's PM as part of the preset for each material. Would the printer override the settings coming in thru the RIP? All the other settings seem to take.
Thank you for the info, I'll...
I can give it a go but I have no idea how to message anyone with this new and improved list.
(need to take a forum posting refresher course). PM me and I'll reply?
My brother raced jet skis and the 4 wheeled dollies he had to move & work on them are real handy around the sign shop. Wouldn't take much to turn one into a dedicated roll mover.
I would offer to lend you my Manual loader but I don't think he has a passport.

No need to ditch Corel but if you are going to print other peoples files and do it right Illustrator is a good thing to have.
Nothing opens Illustrator's EPS PDF & Ai files better than Illustrator.People send me "print ready" EPS files that are anything but every day.

Things are coming around like a new pair of shoes - hurts at first but if they are the right size will glide on like slippers & be taken for granted soon enough.
What's with all the robots on line (72 last I checked)?.
Are they listening in & learning so they can take our jobs?!

I watched a video of a vehicle wrap where an older gentleman had a wooden box that looked to be about 3 or 4ft tall by 2' x 2'6" or so.
When it was standing on end it acted as a tool stand & had cutouts to hold his heater gun without burning anything.
Dropped on it's side it was it was a work...
Looks like the black channel is toast. You might be able to recover it but most likely you'll need to get a new DX4 head.
Not sure what the going rate is but you will want to get an OEM head and I think they run around $700+ USD.
