Oh I love that word....GC! That explains it a lot better. I still say for the best product they wait or send them packing. No ammount of rush fee will subside the stress of this
while all this talking of what method will work is great here is the only thing I really noticed....RUSH JOB. This is not a job you rush. If I were in your shoes I would tell them to carry on to someone else or they can wait for the correctly done product. There is absolutely no sense in jobs...
metal posts is what I would do OR my new favorite if pvc round posts, primed and painted. I dont bother with treated wood if I can help. what you are doing here is overkill. what size is your sign
It appears that whole panel is one. I would scrap with razor, clean with alcohol and reletter. The new design will "sorta hide" the ghosting. Judging be that lettering it will just flake off
Sometimes the settings on the plotter itself are better than trying to contol them in production manager or software. I had to slow my summa down there is no sense in a plotter moving that fast
I got the D75. Other plotter just sold for $325 glad to see it gone, was hoping for bout $500 but its all good. Sold to a copier dude. Said he was gonna use it for banners and signs.
I had this happen on a brand new lexan face for a florist. I put it on at shop and it was fine next day it looked like this. One week later they were all gone. Could it be possible time will make this go away
I have no idea what we are rated at but I did mention to agent we do ladder installs and bucket truck. I could be wrong but I didnt mention any equipment as printers and plotters, i dont see what that would matter, once gain I could be wrong.
we were paying outrageous fees with local company...
I always say "if they wanted perfection, they should have hired someone else!"
I tell you what I am DAMN sick and tired of. Do you do BILLBOARDS?"....I mean wtf, I never knew so many damn people had an attachment to billboards. They hear "signs"and somehow that links them to billboards. People...
I wish you folks would start posting pics of items like this so we can see the sign or at least the frame.
As far as all of this being wood I would personally tear it all out and replace it with aluminum framing skinned with aluminum faces and attached at bottom also. lightweight and durable...
I always do the side by side. Your stuff vs mine. Sometimes mine rules over sometimes it dont. If you are arrogant and your design is absolute s*** ill send you on your way. In some cases I will do it your way and just not claim it.
