back to the issue, sounds like the paint is still out-gassing
regardless of the vinyl the edges/corners will be able to be picked at.
once you install take some optically clear edge sealant tape and run over the edges. will hold the comers/edges down
regardless of the font, please tell me you are fixing the kerning in that design
what the font is very helpful, I use it 2 ways;
directly from their website, upload a picture and within Corel
take a piece of their race car that is painted weigh it, then take piece of the same material, size that is bare wrap it in full ink coverage weigh it and there is your answer

Yes the image is hand gilded, was looking for a "simple" cut/stick option as well as budget minded

getting the 24k is not the issue, finding the silver with this swirl is not so easy to find this swirl turn design
Grimco has a large turn design but its edges are too sharp from the image

if that is the case then you have to use CAST vinyl, any of the major 4 carries this type of film 3M, ORACAL, AVERY, ARLON

yup what you described will work, no need for masking since you are using gravity and there will be no stretching
we install using a big squeegee, set the top edge like you stated and run the squeegee down. will be done in minutes
