  1. VP540 won't power up

I have tried to repair a VP540 which won't power up anymore. The first time the machine was opened some LED's still lit. Now, after replacing the power supply and mainboard this LED's are off, and nothing happens anymore. What - except power supply and mainboard - can prevent the printer vom...
  2. Hp l360

I have asked my HP sales contact here and he said he can't believe 19K. There are three different models, the 360 is the top version, with a list price of US$ 26'900. If the 360 costs 19K only, how much should then the 310?
  3. Hp l360

Strange, because the 360 should compet the Soljet XF-640 and XR-640, and this machines are much more expensive. How much would a 310 cost where you are?
  4. Hp l360

The prices I have posted are the prices HP have announced during dealer presentations a few weeks ago. And they match the prices we offer to our customers. 18'995 for the top model of the line would be very cheap. Remember that there are three new models between 54" and 64".
  5. Hp l360

No. $ 26'900 list price. The 310 is $ 15'500, the 330 $ 20'900 (all the same new ink and curing technology).

  7. Hp l360

They sell their products all over the world, why shouldn't they work all over the world? You can choose not to use it. But in that case you will not have speed advantages.
  8. Hp l360

I agree. Our demo unit is working now, I will spent the weekend with playing around (officially named "testing and preparing for demos :D " ). Perhaps I could post additional interesting videos.
  9. Hp l360

For my opinion interesting too: the improved scratch resistance (they say about hard solvent level) and the new curing system which will not stress the media so much anymore. And more heat stable print heads to print with more color consistency. This will solve some other problems too. We have...
  10. Who wins in the white ink battle for digital printing?

The DC5 is a DC4 with a few modifications, the basic engine is the same. The biggest problem of the DC are owners who have bought it with wrong expectations. When buying the machine after checking seriously what it can do for you or not, the DC4 have advantages in comparison to the Edge, for...
  11. Who wins in the white ink battle for digital printing?

DC5, thermal transfer is still the best solution for printing white.
  12. importing a contour line....

There is a function to convert any path selected to a cut contour as Flexi recognize it. I think it's in the menu "Objects", named "Cutcontour" with submenus to convert and release. So just select your Contour and convert it.
  13. T140 keeps Looking for cropmark that is not there.

Your plotfile don't match the print. The RIP-Software sends the estimated positions of the printed markers with the plotfile to the plotter, so regularly it is guaranteed that the plotter start searching for markers near or at the real position. If the plotter searches for markers at a totally...

The only part in the latex ink which could be categorized as "solvent" is an additive (a co-solvent) what is part of nearly all other Designjet Pigment- and Dye-Inks too. It is named 2-Pyrrolidone and is also part in pharmaceutical drugs. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2-Pyrrolidone Because...

  16. Anyone using 440 cc Inks in their Roland?

Shaking the inks will not appear on a SC545.
  17. Anyone using 440 cc Inks in their Roland?

Newer Rolands use the chips on the cartridges to check if the cartridge is 220cc or 440cc and save an estimated ink level (Full minus usage). The old ones like the SC545EX don't do that, the printer sets the ink cartridges to full as soon as they are set into the machine and starts counting the...
  18. Roland FJ 600 Driver

You don't need drivers, this is an ethernet printer. You need a RIP-Software. The printer was delivered with Roland ColorChoice, but this is really outdated until now.
  19. Exactly what's the machine doing? HP 26500 type machine....

What the printer does too is to move the media back and forth to avoid exposing one little part of the media to the heat for several minutes.
  20. flexi upgrade?

Good experience with new Flexi on HP Latex too ... except of the fact that Onyx prints with a little bit smoother dithering. I'm working at a HP- and Flexi-Reseller, and even if we install most of the printers with Onyx, whe have installations with Flexi too.
