I don't think the font is a rounded corner font. Rather it has had a stroke added to embolden it with the stroke set for rounded corners. Best guess as to the font that was used to start the process ...

Also, uploading a PDF instead of a JPG causes extra steps for anyone willing to help you.
Don't know. There's nothing I'm aware of in the forum settings that would force lower case letters ... which is sometimes termed "shouting prevention". You might want to try switching your editor from enhanced to standard to see if that helps.
There really hasn't be a request or any particular need for such a category in our 13 years of operation. I think whatever may be suitable is in the General Signmaking forum.
Can you imagine the mess our archives would be if members were to start changing or deleting threads or posts? This thread does have archival value for anyone in the future wanting to figure out the same thing you wanted to know.
