Always nice to get new gear after surviving with duct tape and storm wire for too long.
Good luck and show us what you can do when you get it up and running.

If your power supply is stable and your carts are not too close to empty it would be a good idea to leave it in sleep mode with at a minimum setting to have it wake up every 12hrs and do a short cleaning.
That's the word I got from the dealer that sold me my 1624.
I am a little hesitant as...
I am using Flexi 12 and not enjoying the experience much coming from Ver 8.6.
Lots of the same issues and some new ones to add spice to every job.
I can't complain too much as it was a free update with the Mutoh I purchased.
If I had paid the upgrade price I would be a good deal more unhappy...
We have been testing a material called Unistick FX100.
It is eco solvent printable and seems to stay on smooth painted or glass surfaces really well.
The material is stiff like a 1mil pvc sheet but thinner - hard to cut.
We've done some samples for the car dealer's lot and they have them...

We have one and it is fine - lots of support on their site to get you started.

Thanks for the reply.
I did try the 720 x 1440 profile for the 180 from the Mutoh site but the result was not good.
I'm trying to tweak a few of the 720 x 720 profiles but don't have it down just yet.
Hoping someone here will have one they can loan me soon - 2 of the busses are sitting...
Lots of info out there on the web:
This is for American flag poles but I assume it will work for Metric flags too:

Hi all,
I have a new 1624x and can't seem to get a good clean print off of 180c.
I'm getting light banding in the darker blues in the scan direction that I can't get rid of.
I've downloaded the profiles from Mutoh, SAi & 3M for the 180 but can't seem to dial it in.
All the print tests seem...
It's worth $20 a month just to have the latest Illustrator installed even if you just use it as a can opener for client's files.
It does have some nice tools once you get past the not so intuitive workflow issues.

This might work,
take a fist sized piece out of the backer/liner along each edge of your last panel low enough to be where your tape hinge would be.
Use the exposed adhesive to tack your panel up and adjust the seam alignment. With just the 2 smaller patches sticking to the wall adjustment...
Looking good.
How does the van pull the trailer - smooth?

I wonder why they went with upper and lower case on one sign and all caps on the other.
You mean like this?
A simple 5x6 show card. That Tokyo Subway line drawing looking stuff on the bottom is a masked wood texture (vector) that only displays as a 1/4"strip on the bottom.
Gang up about 20 of these and the RIP starts crying as it tries to load them in.
Sounds like caller number 2 is correct - time for some new wheels

I didn't know it could do this either.
Seems accurate, as a test I vector traced a full length photo of myself and it calculated my BMI in the normal healthy range for a 6 month old baby hippo.

Think you need to post a little more info.
1. You have just the two pinch rollers?
2. Do you have it on a stand or how are you rolling the material into the cutter?
3. What kind of material are you cutting?
4. How long is the cut?
5. How are you squaring up material when loading?
6. How...
What I hear quite a bit now days:
How much to wrap my car?
What do you have in mind?
3/4" stripe down both sides.
We used to install die cut vinyl graphics kits from Trim Line and then 3M in the old days.
