If your profiles are set up right and you have an accurate profile for your printer/media it should not matter.

Welcome. You need accurate profiles for your printer/inks/media. Building your own is recommended. If that's out of the question try and find some close enough. Do a search. Lots of info on here. This same question comes up every week.

We haven't done any of this for a while, then two printed frosted film jobs in the same week. This was done for Spotify, the internet music providers.

I encourage people to email. With every phone call you have to stop what you're doing then go through the pleasantries of how are you etc even if you are halfway through doing something productive. Email forces people to focus on what they want to say. You can leave it until you get a minute...

I haven't used it yet but plan to get some of the HP PVC-free wallpaper. Way cheaper than the textured Dreamscape type. Do a youtube search. There are some cool vids showing end users installing it.

I suppose so. It just seems dumb to ask me for a PDF proof. As I said the ones who are really on their game send their client a PDF then give me a jpeg along with the print art so I can check all is good in the RIP.

Open 7 wall panel sized pages in Photoshop, flatten, save, zip and email. Yeh about 15 minutes. I've had some unreliable results saving bitmaps out of Acrobat Reader so don't use that method any more.. Anyway designers who are really on their game will send their jpeg with a PDF if they...

I saved them as jpegs and sent them back. One designer who asked me to do this a while back said he can't believe some sign shops mangle PDFs but they do. Took 15 minutes out of my already busy day though.
