I have a customer looking to replicate the old diner quilted stainless look. Same as a new york hot dog cart. Has anyone found a seamless fill or have any idea where I might find this? I'm guessing it could be built in photoshop, but not enough time for that now. Thanks! -Matt

I took a class on the 3d, but have never upgraded. Tom Penner would be the guy to contact. I would think that doing this in 3d would be time consuming though. From a machining standpoint. -Matt

You are just trying to round off the edge? I use a round over bit and run it on my outside tool path creating a round over. Then use you end mill to cut out the letter. I think you can get round over at Lowes or Home Depot. Just make sure it's a plunge bit not a bearing. -Matt

I will try and dig up some pics tomorrow. Basically i used 1/2" komatex for the frame, cut notches to give it some structural integrity over and above the adhesive, put it together like a puzzle and glued it. We then let that part set-up over-nite. Then ran a bead of adhesive on the edge...

We did something like this, but we used komatex instead of aluminum. Worked well! Adhered it with lord adhesive. So many possibilities! -Matt

Not a lot of ink, but I noticed the indicator tab moves out and ink is still in front of mechanism inside cart. If I tilt the cartridge towards the end it goes back in. Problem is once the tab is out it apparently flashes the card. My warranty is up soon, maybe It's time for a service...

I have noticed the last few times my printer has indicated that the ink is out there is still some left when cart is removed. Is anyone else noticing this. I did check the level on the machine and it is off a little. Any help would be appreciated, this ink is expensive and it seems like...
