I print on Rtape VinylEFX all the time and it works great. I have multiple colors in stock now a days.
Catch 22 is that you can't print to the edge or you will get lifting so you need to always incorporate a offset path where the actual diecut will take place 1/2-3/4" away from any ink.
Yes I did. It's funny though because people think it takes 2 mins to take something designed for another media and "plop" it in a different design layout.
I like that Kurt. I think that is the best Idea I have heard. Mind If I steal it? haha
So.. to start I would like to get your opinions on customers wanting your artwork.
Example:
Let's say you did design work for a brochure or vehicle wrap which included custom created drawings, characters etc as part of a full package.
You get paid. You print it, the client is happy.
Week goes...
Jay- Nice. I never thought about that but your right. Matte material with Gloss would be ultra gloss. Mostly because matte material prints clearer. -Although matte uses more ink.
Hmm. I'm gonna try that on the next wrap.
Just a random Idea... But
If you split the banner up on a flat roof into several 10 or 20 ft banners and staggered them.. Essentially you could create the effect of a castle rooftop which would attract more attention and look a lot cooler at the same time.
Just an idea.. I get them about...
I use main tape as well.. Make sure you buy perfectTear layflat.
I've used others and didn't like any. Also it's more in what tack you buy then what brand. For low low tack we use clear. Fir most installs we use low tack. For shipping out to clients high tack because it lasts longer.
Help?
What profile did you use to print the stickers with in versaworks? I guess I should have asked that first.
Default Roland profiles have the wrong ink setup for Oracal.
Now that I think about it.... Why would you print 10,000 stickers on your roland when you can outsource that size sticker for less than you can print it? I think I can get that qty for under 120$ at that size. I save labor, and more.
