Unfortunately(?)I think we're stuck with the current system. I put the question mark in because I can't argue for more qualifications for sign designers since I have none. I would be out of work if I was required to have some sort of sign/design education. So...
OK... found a similar device but they use a different technique. They do the rivets first, then squeegee down the vinyl in between. Anyone tried the EZwrap Pro device?

I've watched the videos on the Rollepro website but they don't explain how you apply the vinyl with the little tent rows over the rivets. Can anyone shed some light on this. Maybe there is a video that I've not found?
It always amuses me when we forgive large companies for slow service because they're "so busy". I think it would be pretty tough to find anyone busier than one person shop owner.
Can you glue them back on so they won't slide? Maybe some heat shrink over the roller the rubber goes over? If it improves them, then you have your answer.
Well BobbyH... perspective is a funny thing. I started my own sign business in my residential garage with no experience or education. From my perspective I'm a "real sign shop" because I make real signs. What do you make? Do you even have a business?
