  1. Thoughts about selling on etsy for side work?

So, you view investing money into the government once a year..... as a line of credit by paying penalties ?? Hmmm, you sure are odd. I'd rather not pay any penalties now or later and invest in myself, rather than the government. You think paying the penalties outweigh doing it the correct way...
  2. Thoughts about selling on etsy for side work?

Nope, but I knew you don't know the difference from past conversations.... therefore, I didn't think it mattered.
  3. Thoughts about selling on etsy for side work?

The roosters were the first clue. Are your roosters layers or just for their meat ??
  4. Thoughts about selling on etsy for side work?

What business sense does it make to pay the government more money than you need to ?? Why would you throw money to the government, if ya don't have to ?? Not so long ago, you were making fun of people doing it, but with other reasons.
  5. Happy Spring from Wisconsin!

ONE ?? Hahahaaa........ I had dozens of them all over the property, the garden, my neighbors, the two sheds for rainy weather, in the basement, the garage, upstairs and many many bars in the area. However, not anymore.

  7. Thoughts about selling on etsy for side work?

How do you handle the sales tax portion ?? Do you pay any or find a way around it ??

  9. Question Weeding vinyl quickly : text

Dead balls on that one. Nothing is made good today. Nothing. Ya can't get anything worth while anymore. I still have my 30" sprocket fed cutter. I only hadda replace the drum as it melted away, but is still going strong after 37 years. The 15" bit the dust a few years back, but we don't...
  10. Question Weeding vinyl quickly : text

Any tool for your company/business if it's right, could very well be expensive. You simply put those costs into the cost of doing business. My first system back in 1985, cost me $29,000. It was a sprint system with a high speed 15" cutter, but I got an additional 8 font modules and a 30" high...
  11. Cutting 3mil ACM - Colex SHARPCUT Pro SXC 1732

I know nothing about your machine or most others, but when using saws or any cutting tools, it's always best to go slow. Not RPMs, but forward motion. Rather than forcing the machine to cut, allow the machine to cut and advance at a reduced speed, thus prolonging the life of everything. Plus...
  12. Question Weeding vinyl quickly : text

Back in the early 80's the gerbers were known for 1/4" without a problem and if you were careful you could go do upper and lower case at that size, too. Today's cutters, vinyl and people are worthless compared to what is was back then. That's progress for ya.
  13. Roland Ink Drain Bottle replacement?

Better yet, if they could convert p!ss into gas, I'd never hafta go to another gas station...... and it would be non-ethanol. :bookworm
  14. Question Weeding vinyl quickly : text

I can't believe there are this many theories on weeding. It can only be one of maybe 2 or 3 things. * Cutting to deep, regardless of a sharp or dull knife. * Equipment is lacking. * Old or bad vinyl. Something I've been during for quite a few years is to, do a path around everything...

  18. What thickness of acrylic for 5'x6' with 1" spacers

Yeah, we never use the ones provided when buying those things. I guess they're Okay, but I like heavier ones for better sleep at night.
  19. What thickness of acrylic for 5'x6' with 1" spacers

Consider this. Applying your graphics on the backside and using non-glare clear. Inside you will get glare from everything from lights to windows to just opening and closing doors and shifting light around. Non-glare will stop that 100%. We just did one, but it had 3/4" relief letters in on...
  20. Hello

I was only kidding. I don't want you to send me any...... unless it's barrels full. I'm from southeastern Pennsylvania. I was an irish whiskey drinker for years, but quit a little over 4 years ago. I still will have a glass of port here or there, but that's about it anymore. My drink of...
