I think i got it now...you don't see all the uninstalled fonts, you haft to temporarily install each font then it shows in flexi even with flexi open. Once ya close flexi and reopen the font is no longer in flex... that's why it needs to be converted to outline or welded..............in 8.6v2...

I have very lil silvering if any...if i do its because the pressure was not set correctly on my lam machine.

just downloaded the installer and it installed....why would a zipped version not install? also when Amp is open flexi still wont read the uninstalled font. Im running Flexi 8.6v2 build 1472...not sure if that has anything to do with it not reading them.

im running XP and amp version 3.8.6.0...i didnt install it and it works. every time you open it it ask if ya want to run the exe. program. here is the link where i got the program.......... http://www.ampsoft.net/utilities/FontViewer.php i think i downloaded the zip and not the installer.

not working on this end...i closed flexi.....opened amp and navigated to my uninstalled font folder....it shows the fonts in amp,,,,then i open flexi and navigate to character and it only shows my installed fonts and not the others. Also is this a Java program???? it does not install to the...

how does flexi pick up the fonts not installed......thought flexi could only read install fonts from the windows folder...please explain more.....i just downloaded AMP and that looks like a good program...was using Xfonter before.

No problems with my Daige 4............i would buy another one. My buddy owns a high dollar one and has had more issues with it than i have had with my chepo stinko daige 4.:ROFLMAO:

thats your issue...contact SAI for your free upgrade to 8.6...that version had allot of bad issues and they offered a free upgrade to 8.6....im running 8.6v2 build 1472 and 90% of all the issues i had in 8.5 are no more!!!

i never really used this option in flexi....I did some searches here on 101 with no results on "Snap To" in flexi.......i get that its suppose to snap a obect to a specific location,but i cant seem to snap any objects......how does this work ? any info would be cool...i went threw the training...

8.5 was a bad version...anyone who had 8.5 got a free upgrade to 8.6....contact your vendor and or SAI tell them u want the free upgrade

Try renaming the file ......if that don't work email me and I will send the updater file.

update it...........in flexi got to help /check for updates....i did this about a month ago.....as of my update there is no more so im guessing this is the latest build for 8.6v2
