Its been 100 degrees and humid in WI and I have an install tomorrow on a semi trailer. I did two last week in similar weather and had problems keeping my masking tape sticking to the side of the trailer to hold up the graphics while I was measuring and lining them up. Any suggestions?

Has anyone replaced their media clamps on the SP300V, and if so, how often? It seems mine have been hanging up on Oracal 751 lately when I've been cutting. If I run the clamps across the media after taking them off the rail they almost feel like they are stuck to the media. I've cleaned...

I've always had the same issues. Longer media never seems to track straight. It always seems to pull to the left. I've replaced the pinch rollers and cleaned the media guides, nothing seems to help.

the printer is printing everything else great...only problem is with the gradients

one of the prints is about 8 feet long, will it still work as a tif at that length>? never really worked with them in larger scales. I'd hate to try and print something that big and waste it if it isnt right. also, I'm using illustrator-if that makes a difference.

While printing gradients I have been getting banding. The larder the print, the worse the banding. This is not happening with normal printing. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.

I did a trailer for a customer and the colored vinyl is peeling off. There are other spots on the trailer that are doing the same thing. The white vinyl is the same material, just not printed and laminated so I don't think my surface preperation was poor. I think the problem is with the...

Thanks Mike, haven't had the problem since I took the surge protector out of the middle. I'll keep that in mind in case it happens again. The room is right around 68 all the time and usually gets a little warmer when I am using the machine, so I wouldn't think this would be the problem? Also...

2nd roll of it, so it rules out that out. One was a 24", one was a 30". It does seem to get worse as the roll gets toward the end.

weird thing is, it only did it with the roll of 751. I just cut some 3551 and it was fine. IDK, maybe the roll had too much static built up in it and was hanging up somehow?

I've been cutting some Oracal 751 and as it is cutting the vinyl wanders as it is feeding. This causes it to come completely out from one side of the clamps. It doesn't always go to the same side, either. Any thoughts?
