  4. anyone buy a printer from matt c?

Best I can tell.... yes? It took me a minute, but I can see what Roberts trying to say. What Matt did was his fault, and he has to take care of stuff. BUT, to the people who got burned... don't forget you knew something was probably fishy in the dealings anyways. Like taking on a cell phone...
  5. please help I'm new pnc 1100

Have you tried cutting a large file yet? Gets interesting........ And you can find used PNC1100s for like $1200, and for that price, find a 5-6 year old Graphtec of Summa. With 2x the IPS, and the ability to handle large files, they're easily a better machine. But hey, it's all off topic...
  6. please help I'm new pnc 1100

Once again OP... you try to involve yourself in something way out of your league. PNC1100.... old Roland machine. Could very well be 15 years old. It was rather slow, because of it's age it's a little harder to get parts for, and a lot harder to get info on. It's buffer capacity is...
  7. CDR file?

I doubt it. I've never had a cdr. file open in PS before, and have had an older version of cdr open in Illustrator when I imported it.... but never with recent versions.
  8. please help I'm new pnc 1100

First off, understand a couple things. 1. You need vector software, not raster (you have a raster program, sorry). You need to buy CorelDraw. 2. You have, an ANCIENT machine that will won't perform too well. If you want to cut vinyl, I'd suggest selling it and buying a used Graphtec or...
  9. Hello & Goodbye

Funny how I don't even care.... This site is made up of a lot of individuals. Just because one ticked you off, doesn't mean the whole site is messed up. Pretty immature. Like saying "Mom, a kid at school made fun of me today. I never want to go to school again, because the whole school is...
  10. ...for all you Photoshop experts!

You know..... you can get those effects done in CorelDraw? Then it's cakewalk.
  11. 65% and then it quit

I've had that happen before. It happened like every 3-4 jobs. Turned out to be a fried mainboard on the printer. I lost 2 of those suckers.......
  12. lines, banding, etc. on FII Outdoor

Could be your capping station going bad. Try running a heavy cleaning or two and see if that helps. If so, then you probably need to replace the pads on your capping station. ALSO, look inside around the capping station and see if any of the lines are broken. Both of these issues will cause...
  13. Picking Up Mutoh Falcon Outdoor.. Need Help!!

By letting it sit for 6-8 months, they have probably ruined that large investment they made. Sitting idle is one of the worst things for a printer, even 2 weeks is kind of rough on it. 8 months.... whew..... count on the heads being shot, the capping station no good, all the lines cracked...
  14. Hello from the Northwest

Welcome, from another soggy NorthWesterner. Tumwater.... hmm..... thought that was in England? :brittain: :peace!:
  15. $100,000 giveaway

So basically..... it goes to the neediest, saddest sign shop that has the most potential? Oh man, I'm all over it! LOL
  16. Networking question #2

Alright, finally have a chance to work on this again. Techman, I followed your instructions to a "T", but here's my problem now. In the TCP/IP section, there is no place to put in a second PC's IP address. It just shows the option for ONE IP address? What did I do wrong?
  17. Mikron vs stimpson 405

I have a Micron. It works pretty nicely.
  18. Laminator??

If you want to do large runs, and have true speed.... the big squeegee just ain't gonna cut it. I've heard "OK" things about the speedpress, and there's always the Loue' (sp?) and Ding.
  19. Need some capping station help

Or atleast I think. Every morning if I run a print, I get white lines through the print for the first 6-10 inches or so. If I run a cleaning, that goes away, and all my prints start fine. But if I leave it alone for a couple hours and come back to make a print, it does it again. Had this...
