You can use the Adobe filters in Flexi. Do you have the Eye Candy plug-in filter installed? -

Flexi color problem!
Rasterize the gradient and the eyedropper tool will then show the color mix on whatever part of the gradient you select. -

17in. Laptops running XP are hard to to find at a reasonable price. I just bought a 17in. for the HOME and settled on Vista...
