  2. Anyone on Facebook? Are social networks really this addictive?

hello, my name is Mark and I am a facebookaholic. Hello Mark! (shout a large and growing group of signs101 addicts) hahahaha http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/profile.php?id=1065770346
  3. Sharing art with Competition??

Let's be honest then. We charge for artwork but shops who don't recognize that a design is product don't. I had a customer wake me up to the fact that many customers expect their sign shop to do "free" layouts for them about 4-5 years ago. This customer was one of my largest customers in the...
  4. Loud Printing

Unsure about loudprinting since I have never used them but I have used D&T graphics and Merritt Graphics with great success in service and quality.
  5. I need help!

I actually thought newatthis was going to make it - maybe she still will, IDK. She is pretty stubborn, I liked her spunk! She must be used to dealing with a bunch of sniveling whiny little boys. hahaha
  6. Contest/Design Off Idea

count me in on the next one and I can't wait to see these! ;-)
  7. Thermal ribbon or Eco-Sol?

Based on your budget and production limitations I'd say a used Gerber Edge would be the way to go for now. You could do a whole lot more with an ink jet but it would blow away your budget because you would be forced to laminate as well.

  9. Font ID for Christmas

Anybody know this one? I can't find it and NEED it soon. I can get close but haven't found a font with the mismatched extensions. Thanks
  10. Lost my Color punch; To many Changes at once?

Another thing to keep in mind is that all monitors do not reflect the colors accurately. You can have good printer profiles but they may not match your monitor profiles. Until you are able to profile your monitor print a cmyk color chart on all your materials and you can match colors physically...

  14. Another new guy!!! from Nor*Cal

welcome hotrod! What kind of hotrod do you drive?
  15. why cant i find all those vector files

I'm sure there are numerous places to purchase or download the "hottest" vector versions of ripped off logos. Unless of course you are looking to secure a legitimate license to resell those copyrighted logos. I'm certain those companies would provide the artwork in numerous formats for...
  16. Good Afternoon, and Happy Holidays from Nashville TN!

  17. My Flexi has a mind of it's own

Is this a crack version or a legitimate version with a dongle?
  18. Price Posting and Discussion at Signs 101

"More restrictive" pricing guidelines would be better. However, it is an industry issue NOT just a signs101 issue. One real world example (which does not involve signs101 though) would be approx a year ago a customer of mine did an internet search on a supplier name she saw when looking at a...
  19. So green it hurts

DUDE! I am sooooo sorry! hehehe Welcome.
  20. LLC. vs INC.

I have a real estate company that we established as an LLC, but for our (wife and I) other service based companies Inc. was better for us. I recommend for you to check with your attorney and cpa for specific advice concerning your needs and tax position.
