shirely use translucent for the main copy, and if your using a black outline, it can be Cast vinyl(cheaper) but will last just as long.

Depends if the outline is black, you can go over, but not any other color.

back in the day, we used to charge 12-18 sq' per banner. I can't tell you the last time I made a banner...for that price. or charge 30 per scan of their image, cleaning up, or god forbid, hand cut it!!! those were the good ol' days!!

You can buy on ebay, individual 35 mm slides. Scan your own, do what you want. Tons of vintage stuff!!

I have Windows 7 32 bit, and I can not run my Gerber 4b. Been on phone with both Gerber and Dell. No solution so far. So, if you have older equipment, I would not get Windows 7.

if your learning both Flemi & Omega, I would go with Omega-it was designed for Gerbers equipment. Is there any reason why your printing on clear, and not just white?? then you would only use 2 foils, the grey could be a black w/halftone. (hence the grey)
