We always do Acrylic sign faces wet if using trans. vinyl.
I for one cannot ever get away without having bubbles on acrylic/lexan etc.
if I do it dry.....impossible for me
we used to use a homemade product for wet apps
but switched to rapid and now I stock at least a gallon of it for...
we used to have a lynx 24"
when you replace your pinch rollers - do NOT toss the old ones out
use which ever of the 2 are still good
and put one of them on the machine so you now have 3
which holds the material down much better (2 on ends and one in center)
and it still measures properly.

file of his new logo that his 'graphic artist'
produced for him - YAH
he asked me previously to make him up one, but then
heard my price and ran (not what I was told by him) -
someone told me he said I was "too pricey"

I actually do use pvc layed on top of the table - pieces of vhb tape on corners and running some edges
(komatex)
I can abuse it and flip it when needed.....then when both sides are worn down
cause' you do get some nasty exacto groove marks in it....just get another
cheapy sheet and do it...

I just recently started using transferite instead of the R-tape conform because I was having many of the problems mentioned. Never had those problems before!!
But, I think the problem you are having is that it was a 'package deal' and I bettcha' that you ended up with junk vinyl and tape...

Good! I hope that holds true for mine as well...I was a little pissed to say
the least, but hey maybe the guy didn't really know.
Although, the strip on this new plotter doesn't seem to come off and have a
