  2. Rough Edges

Theso called dust speckles can be dust, especially at this time of year. I remember they said to clean the material first with distilled water and that will help. What I actually found to be the cause of a lot of the so called dust specs was not dust at all but small craters in the actual vinyl...
  3. whats cheap and disposable that we can print on?

Banners on a roll is great if you need a truck load of them. 1 - 12 units hardly qualifies, but thanks for the lead I will bookmark it for future referencing. If I print them on a vinyl stock in house on my machine. after printing and cutting them down to size and then applying 39' of double...
  4. whats cheap and disposable that we can print on?

Might be best just to print them on a cheap roll of vinyl and just cut them down, but still I cant do them for under $225.00 each. Does not seem disposable to me. Even the paper option will cost about the same when all is said and done.
  5. whats cheap and disposable that we can print on?

I have a request for a 2' x 39' banner that has a repeated logo every 6 feet, is held up with double sided tape and is generally tossed after the event. They are not sure the quantity possibly 1 -12 units. Whats a cheap material to print on that can be technically disposable. I cant think of...

  7. Snow storm???

I think we are going to get the big storm that is coming up from Texas and then it is going to colide with the high wind Chicago storm. This should be interesting. Nothing like watching the storm from your bedroom window all cozy...and then theres watching the storm from your office window...
  8. oval shaped magnets

I have done them on the Edge but that gerber Edge ready magnetic material is pretty pricey. Depending on what plotter you use to cut with you may have to lay premask over exposed metal so the magnetic material flows smoothly
  9. Snow storm???

yup we are supposed to get 30 cm which is about a foot. I for one will be in no hurry tomorrow to come to work as I know the phones will be quiet and generally the traffic will be brutal. 13. my laptopis running very slow online....need suggestions

I am not sure when it started, possibly in the last week or so, but everything I do online seems to have slowed down incredibly. Facebook seems to take almost a minute before I can do anything. This site sits for at least 20 seconds after opening any thread or trying respond. I have run avg on...

  15. Losing repeat orders...

There will always be price shoppers no matter what, and you will never be able to control it. What sets you apart from the others...is you!!! and the service and personality that you convey to all your customers. I have found that those that constantly look for better prices are not worth...
  16. Problem with arlon calender sticking to wood

I remember a customer wanted lettering to make his own a frame many years ago. I told him he better sand that wood and put a very thick layer of paint on if he expected the vinyl to stick. He came back a few weeks later to complain to me about my lousy vinyl that does not stick and I swear the...
