  5. Are any fonts a true single line vector?

John, have you experienced the sizing issue I have, when importing eps vectors into Aspire? My board size is the same in flexi as aspire, and the imported vectors will be blown way larger than what they were in flexi.
  6. Are any fonts a true single line vector?

When I export as an ai or eps, then "import vectors" in Aspire, the file opens approximately 10x larger than I had it sized in flexi. Example, a 5" letter will open in Aspire as a 50" letter (just a guess. I never actually paid attention to the imported size. Its just BIG). When I export as a...
  7. Are any fonts a true single line vector?

Hi John, I'm using the same 2 programs, and haven't had the problem you speak of. I export out as a dxf file and open that in Aspire. The only strange thing I've found, is I usually get a double set of the outline overlaid over the other (if that makes sense). I just delete one, and I'm...
  8. mixing station???

I'm familiar with Matthews, as I've talked with their rep at different sign shows. Other than Matthews, what brand/system would you recommend? I've been searching more towards the "automotive" systems (like ppg instead of their matthews sign division). So you "Automotive" painters.....what...

  15. What do you tell the guy that wants "car graphix"

Not busting your chops JR. I simply think you missed a couple main points of the OP's post. Translation...... My buddy drew up these cool graphics on his napkin in the cafeteria, and I want you to reproduce it on my car. NO, I'm not interested in that stock stuff from a catalog. I want THIS...
  16. Need silkscreener for about 40 shirts

I don't know Colorado. I was thinking the same when Wraps took the time to post (asking for someone else to look up the info), rather than hit the search button and typing in D&T. (surely a lot less typing). A couple points I want to make. 1. Has "wraps" ever heard of a "sense of humor"...
  17. What do you tell the guy that wants "car graphix"

There are a bunch of "auto graphics" supply companies that offer hundreds of different options to choose from. Millions$$$??? Yeah, no doubt.....but we don't have to ask you. We have all heard of Restylers, CarPretty......ect..... I'm also pretty sure you haven't made your "couple of...
  18. What do you tell the guy that wants "car graphix"

I love this type of customer. I send them to my competitor, explaining that he specializes in these types of auto graphiX. Before I let the customer out the door, I will throw out a ballpark price (if I actually did that type of work that is). The price I tell them is usually 1/2 of what I...
