regarding it being original... I don't know why, it just seems Ive seen that sort of thing somewhere before! ..but certainly, if you started designing it 3 years ago, I think you should be able to get some credit for that if anyone is unimpressed...

I ran engravers, but was only involved in help with bidding on very large ADA sign contracts, with frames & installation... but I'd expect you would be thinking twice before offering a foot of machined plastic for less then an inkjet sticker.. if a small is 2/3 the size of the $35 one... why...

In my opinion, it is not "wrong" to have standard (non translucent) vinyl for a dark background, nor is it wrong to have translucent (as long as enough contrast remains).. but in any case, if a customer wants a blue background, they probably want at least a little blue to show at night... I...

I've seen it looking very good for years. Butch Anton used to promote Krylon at the sign trade shows & showed some very cool effects he was getting before even the Edge printer came onto the scene... I remember he would stick his hand in a glass of water, flick drops on a small bit of vinyl...
