Yep ... Like many others have said ... SSD for your operating system and programs, HDD (7200rpm) for storage. (saving your files) The HDD drives are cheap enough so it makes sense to add one on. It's not necessarily to save jobs but anything else on your work station that you save/download.

Always have a spare set of cartridges on hand. Change them when the printer stops and tells you to.

You are better off using an application fluid if you are sticking down large pieces of vinyl with no air release. I even appreciate the air release in calendared vinyl. Makes things so much easier.

Your printing on heated vinyl. New printers won't print any nicer than printers that are a couple of years old. The resolution is limited by the media. I am willing to bet you won't see a difference between a 1440x1440 file and a 720x720 printed on wrap vinyl.

Thank you for all your suggestions. I will speak with my dealer tomorrow and discuss further. Will mention about the clock battery and see what else we can trouble shoot. Edit: It even stopped halfway printing registration marks to do a cleaning....

I hate those requests. Promise of a big job then they start off with just a small part of it and allot of times you wont see the balance. Deal with it how you want but next time be prepared to give two prices. I price for one job or a discount to do a larger order. And get a deposit for whatever...
