I've estimated a size of a wall using Google Earth. Also when i am talking with a customer about a sign over the phone i often look it up using Google Maps street view. Talk with the customer at the same time as i am looking at the site where they want their sign. It's so handy!
Bringing in stuff from another country you need either a private Shipping Broker or UPS Worldwide (expensive brokerage fees).
Or you cross over yourself to a UPS store or other similar business close to the border and coming back fill in the appropriate paperwork yourself.
Makes me think about my engraving software.
Whenever i open old files (older version) it will tell me to save the file over.
If i don't i can get screwy results. But just saving it with no changes seems to make it run fine after.
Whenever i do an "Hours of operation" sign. If it's in french i always list the hours in a 24h cycle.
I get instructions like "from 8:30am to 5:00pm". I will change it over to "from 8h30 to 17h00".
Haven't gotten any flack for it yet.
I am set up the same. My insurance company forced me to take an extra "garage-keeper" policy once they learned i keep vehicles in my shop overnight/multiple days.
I create canals when installing wraps on rivets/screws. Hit it with a blow torch and roll over with a Rolle-Pro.
If you do it right you won't need to touch each rivet head. And you only need Primer94 if you use 3M vinyl. I don't.
I would never touch up screws on a trailer with paint. You end up with painted screws once the wrap is taken off or changed. Ends up looking like a mess.
IMO you either go over them or under and i won't babysit each screws either. If i go over them it will be a very quick pass with a Rolle-Pro...
Without reading the whole manuals.
I see the User's manual for the VS series of printers and the Service manual for the VSI printers.
VS series does not have the same head or ink cartridge setup as the VSI series.
I've had that happen before. And it was only with red vinyl. Kinda leaves a stain. I try top avoid erasers when removing vinyl.
Pretty munch the only time i will use them is if i am removing old vinyl that has a million cracks in it.
I've used a 3M product before. Don't remember the name but it...
Gene ... I have two Gravograph units. An LS100 35 watt and a LS900 60 watt. Not sure about the types of lasers they have. I only know they are CO2 laser systems.
Like i said though. Smoke doesn't stay long in the unit. The blower (also got from Gravograph) does a really great job. I have to be...
My airflow sucks big time! :D
I never though about the PVC content in regular vinyl, i guess that's why.
Smoke does not accumulate inside my units (i have two connected to the same blower), goes straight out the back!
