Thats basically what I did except I printed reverse on clear vinyl...they backed it up with white after the clear had been applied. If it were my job I would have printed it forward on clear and laminated it, then applied, but this is the way he wanted it.

I generally dont print in high speed and find that 4 pass speeds up the process. To print in 8 pass low speed will take so long. maybe it's time to crank it to high speed.

What exactly do these dampers do? control the flow of ink? and what would make them need replacing...build up?
