laminate them with a cheap laminate or apply application tape to help "thicken" them up and make them easier to handle, the ink really thins the vinyl.

+1 you know that if anything happens to his sign while you try to clean it, he will blame you and insist you give him a brand new one, for free, in fact i wouldn't be surprised if he is counting on this happening.

I would tell him that after he pays you $xx per hour to clean his sign, it would be cheaper to use a brand new piece. Also, lexsan doesn't always clean very well, it has a tendency to yellow and haze over time.

+1 for photo-tex, it's the only product i've found that doesn't peel off the wall. as far as the other products you are using, they are all fine materials, but lamination is a must!

we deal with them for most of our digital supplies, and we bought our roland printer off them. I would say they are pretty good to deal with, their tech support is sometimes a bit slow to get back to you but they have never let me down.
