Yeah, in the last 2 years FedEx and UPS have made it extremely expensive to ship large items like that. They basically don't want that business anymore. Our rates are pretty good and we still pay over $100 in shipping on a 50x38x4 box.
We looked into this but didn't really see any margin left if our customer was trying to compete with the big players.
Do you have a different market to compete in?
Some ideas:
Try wiping with a solution including 30% water
Try using a Kimberly Clark wypall L30
Try changing the direction of your wiping
Try using more alcohol, like totally saturating your towel
Try a different supplier and/or brand of coro.
Ask for a few sheets from a different batch...
In general, with Durst, we find you get what you pay for. The service is great, and the machines run and run. Give them a long hard look.
